BOARD OF DIRECTORS

    Allen Filarecki, currently resides in North Tonawanda, New York, with his wife and twin sons.  He is a 1995 graduate of the highly acclaimed St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute and went on to study Criminal Justice at Niagara County Community College, obtaining his Associate Degree in Applied Science in the Criminal Justice major.  The son of a retired New York State Police trooper and investigator, Filarecki was drawn to the field of Criminal Justice from an early age.

    While at NCCC, Filarecki was twice voted All-American status for his performance on the Trailblazer’s soccer team, becoming the first to be voted as a repeat selection.  Filarecki continued his higher education by attending SUNY-Fredonia, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.

    Prior to attaining his Bachelor Degree, Filarecki accepted a position with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office in Lockport, New York as a Corrections Officer. Filarecki held this post until his appointment to the United States Border Patrol, entering on duty in 2001 with the USBP at the Boulevard, California station located in San Diego Sector. Filarecki established himself as a dedicated worker and strong leader and was subsequently promoted to Supervisory Border Patrol Agent at the Boulevard Station in 2007.


    In 2009, Filarecki was transferred back home, landing at the Niagara Falls Station in the Buffalo Sector, where he is still currently an SBPA.  Filarecki is proud and fortunate to have been able to return to the Niagara County area to police the United States/Canada border, as he patrols the very same areas that his father had for 20 years prior in his service with the New York State Park Police and New York State Police.

    Zach graduated from Angelo State University in 1995 with a BS in Biology and from Texas Tech School of Law in 1998 with a JD.  Zach began his career with the United States Border Patrol in 2000 at the Calexico Station.  Zach transferred to the Brown Field Station in San Diego in 2006.  Zach began with Code 4 Foundation because he wanted to help other law enforcement officers in their times of need.

    ISAAC FRUTOS

    Isaac Frutos was born and raised in San Diego, California.  He, his wife Aleida, and their two children love spending time with family and friends. Isaac is an avid sportsman, enjoys coaching, gardening, and building Aleida’s Pinterest projects.  All the key essential parts of his previous jobs and trades, have lead Isaac to a career in law enforcement.  August 2014 marks his 7th year in the Border Patrol.  All the while, he has been involved with leadership roles, fund raising and community service.  He is also an Explorer Adviser for youths, the future leaders, protectors and law enforcement officers of our nation, at Explorer Post #1925.

    SCOTT ZIMMER

    Scott joined the U.S. Border Patrol in 1996 and was assigned to the Brown Field Station in San Diego, CA and was promoted to a Supervisor in 2007.  Prior to joining the Border Patrol, Scott went to college at SUNY Brockport with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. While at SUNY Brockport, Scott was a two time Dean’s list member.  As Code 4’s officer of Fundraising and Events, Scott brings a wealth of experience from being a former member of the Foot Locker Corporations management team.  He quickly moved  his way up  the  ranks and gained valuable sales knowledge

    while being store manager.  He received several awards for achievements such as improving one stores sales by over 40% during the time he was there.  He lives in Escondido, California with his wife Kim and their two children.  Scott has enjoyed coaching youth sports in the past and has completed several mud runs.

    MICHAEL COX

    Mike is an 18 year Border Patrol Agent and President of National Border Patrol Council Local 2913.

    He lives in Ferndale, WA, with his wife Kirsten and three children.  He is an avid golfer and enjoys coaching youth sports, especially his daughters basketball team.
